Six generations of baking magic are poured into every product that comes out of the bakery, from savouries like pies, breads and rolls to sweet treats, including cakes, pastries and tarts. The bakery is also well known for its selection of freshly made sandwiches and daily soups… chicken and rice soup on a Wednesday is a firm favourite!
Every element of every bake is made from scratch with love – from doughs to icings, jams to the mayonnaise for sandwiches – providing a delicious homemade taste with every bite. From the Harry Gow kitchen to its customers’, everything is made with top quality ingredients and the same care as it would if made for the Gows’ own family.
It’s this dedication to great tastes and traditional methods that led Harry Gow to be named the first ever Scottish Baker of the Year in 2012. Crowned again in 2019, Harry Gow is the only bakery to ever receive the accolade twice.
