The jewel in Brora’s crown in undoubtedly the breathtaking beaches which span both sides of the River Brora and the village. The beaches are locally referred to as the front beach, which lies below Brora Golf Club, opens into a wide expanse of golden sand the further north it goes and the along to back beach, nestled below Sea Breezes Caravan Site, which was once the old radio station in Brora and itself a site of historical interest. More adventurous explorers of the area can enjoy a walk along the coast from Brora to Golspie to the south.
Brora’s coastline is home to a wide range of wildlife, from nesting Arctic Terns, seals and dolphins.
